Introduction: -
Department of Trauma & Emergency was established in the year 2017 as an independent unit. It was started with a vision of providing acute and emergency services for both trauma and emergency patients.
Our department caters 24*7*365 to all spectrums of patients severely affected by life threatening events with immediate management, as per standard protocols. The primary aim is to provide timely, efficient and guidelines based acute care to all patients.

The department has 85 bedded fully equipped emergency area which includes Triage area (Red zone, Yellow Zone, Green zone) High dependency unit, Intensive Care Unit, Isolation, Trauma and Transition zone & operation theatres equipped with cutting edge technology.

We have 24*7*365 days working fully equipped modern operation theatres which cater to all emergency surgical cases.

The department has 24 bedded Emergency ICU & 15 bedded HDU with all modern gadgets & extensive hemodynamic monitors, dedicated laboratory services, modern ventilator on each bed, bed side USG/ X-RAY/ ECHO.

Our team of Faculty from various specialities are dedicated to imparting quality education of undergraduate/ Post graduate/ nurses / paramedics.

Recently the department has been accredited with NBE and has got 2 DNB emergency Medicine seats by NAT board.
